If you have a first-generation Echo device (trade-in value $25) or a 1st-generation Echo Show (trade-in value $30) or select other Alexa devices, you can get a new Echo Show 8 for less than $5. Trade-in your device here.
Once the trade-in is complete, Add the Echo Show 8 (device only, do not select $5 smart plug, etc.) to your cart and check out. De-register your device before sending back to Amazon. To do that, go to “Your Account” on Amazon.com (under “Accounts & Lists” at the top of the page). Select “Your Devices and Content,” select “Manage Devices,” select “Echo,” pick the name of the device you’re trading in, and then “de-register.” You’re now ready to ship the device back to Amazon.
