Zoom meetings with Alexa are now available for owners of the Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 10 devices.
Users will be able to start meetings with voice commands and can skip the manual input of a meeting ID and/or password if they opt to sync their calendars with Alexa. Join a Zoom meeting by saying “Alexa, join my Zoom meeting” and following the instructions when prompted.
How to Setup Zoom For Alexa
Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 10 owners can join a Zoom meeting on their device without the requirement of having their own Zoom account. However, if you do have an existing Zoom account, you can sign in to your Zoom account and access your full Zoom account functionality. To sign in to your Zoom account, say, “Alexa, open Zoom.” After signing in, users will be asked to set up an account pin for privacy purposes.
Zoom Meeting Commands that Work with the Echo Show Devices
To start or join a Zoom meeting, use one of these Alexa phrases: “Alexa, start my Zoom meeting,” “Alexa, begin the Zoom appointment,” “Alexa, join my Zoom call,” Alexa, start my Zoom class,” “Alexa, join my Zoom meeting,” “Alexa, Start my next meeting,” “Alexa, join the meeting.”
To end a Zoom call or leave a meeting the following commands will work: “Alexa, end the Zoom call,” “Alexa, finish the Zoom meeting,” “Alexa, end the current call,” “Alexa, end meeting,” “Alexa, end the call,” or “Alexa, hang up.”

Jill, super feature! But I’ve tried it out several times and found it super buggy or not documented. Well. Could you help out. So as an example a default phone number “one-click” from Zoom looks like this (+13017158592,,89572516713#,,1#,047770# ) but Alexa seems to have a lot of trouble processing the last PIN/Password code. Now, I’ve used another conferencing service, where it looks more like 15405551234,1234,1234. And that seems to work fine, so not sure if its the length, number of commas, or the pound symbols but I’ve tried a lot of things and couldn’t seem to get it to work? Any ideas? Any addition input about what sytax rules there using for “one-touch” dialing? Thanks
